Recipient Org: Description | For 20 years Brandon Trust has supported people with learning disabilities to live the lives they choose. We work with people with learning disabilities to challenge the discrimination and isolation that they face. We recognise that every person we work with is different, with different needs that require a range of solutions. Brandon Trust supports people with learning disabilities: - Providing specialist round the clock care for those with complex and multiple disabilities, supporting every aspect of their lives - To find the best living arrangements to meet their needs so they have a home they feel is really theirs - To gain basic life skills like cooking, using public transport and personal care so they feel empowered to get on with their lives - To learn new skills, gain work experience and move into paid employment - Helping young people and their families make the often difficult transition from children to adult services. |
