Through our work we aim to: a) Give refugee and asylum seeking women improved access to information about services and improved life chances through access to good quality information, signposting and advice b) Raise the educational and economic status of refugee and asylum seeking women c) Provide access to English language learning, volunteering and training opportunities. Our main activates are: 1 day a week drop-in centre, advocacy and Information project with bi lingual support in Kurdish, Arabic and Somali, ESOL project: volunteer teachers deliver English classes at 4 levels to 60 women each week, supporting women into volunteering and training, empowering women to have a voice and influence policy and practice and celebrating and promoting refugee women. |
