| Recipient Org: Description | Avalon is a special school. At its heart are our young people aged 11- 19 years, all of whom have learning difficulties. We cater for a broad range of pupils. Currently the majority of pupils have moderate or severe learning difficulties; a significant proportion have Autistic Spectrum Condition [ASC] and a smaller number have complex additional needs. Avalon is a thriving school community of enthusiastic learners who support and encourage each other to achieve as highly as they are able. |
