Recipient Org: Description The object of VOICEs is to improve the response to and understanding of all aspects of domestic abuse, to enable, empower and support women who have experienced domestic abuse and to educate other services, agencies and professionals to provide good quality, consistent and focused provision, interventions and support. VOICES provides community-based recovery programmes, including the Freedom Programme and the Recovery Toolkit, a regular social group, creative activities and one-to-one support to victims and survivors of domestic abuse and violence. VOICES is a member of the IRIS Steering Group (Identification and Referral to Improve Safety) for primary health care, and also of the Domestic Abuse Partnership and Strategy Group for Bath & Northeast Somerset. VOICES refer to and receive referrals from other domestic abuse services in Bath and regionally, and work in partnership with Sporting Family Change and with local counselling services. VOICES' members act as consultants to Safelives, the national Dv training charity.
