| Recipient Org: Description | To offer free and ticketed high quality Storytelling events to a wide range of the community in the Somerset area and beyond. To be committed to best practice, to continue to explore, produce and offer work that is relevant to different age ranges from children to adults. As well as storytelling performances and participative activities, including workshops that fall into our annual Springtime Festival, we also offer events (both inside and outside) that involve live music, art, dance and puppetry. We work in many venues including pre schools, schools, theatres, arts centres, festivals and elders' homes. Since 2013 we have run a number of intergenerational projects in North Somerset, Bristol and B&NES bringing different ages together to explore themes such as 'Childhood' and the 'Dunkirk Evacuation'The geographical areas we cover most regularly, are Somerset, North Somerset, B&NES, South Gloucestershire, Gloucestershire and Wiltshire |
