Recipient Org: Description We are a group of Artists and Makers who are committed to working with communities to make better use of urban spaces. We seek to involve people in creative activities with the aim of increasing general wellbeing, strengthening communities, and to help groups create for themselves inspiring and useful environments in deprived urban areas. We provide creative workshops for children and adults, and offer assistance in the development of community gardens and pocket spaces. As part of this we link Artists and Makers with community groups to initiate commissions, and local events. We also seek to pair those looking for space to run community events and workshops, with underused public buildings and spaces, enabling the provision of accessible, affordable and creative events.
