Recipient Org: Description Aretians rfc provide fun, free, community sport for all ages. Our Rugby Cubs section provide free first steps into sport and exercise for 2 to 5 year old boys and girls. The main catchment area is Patchway, which is a deprived area. We have had over 500 children use our exercise sessions on a sunday morning over the past 3 years, and we are held in very high esteem in our local community. We fund our sessions by holding a weekly raffle and selling hot drinks throughout the winter. We make no profit, and our only objective is to get very young children into sport and enjoying exercise in a safe environment. The activities are all based on understanding of movement, so running, jumping, catching, throwing, and changing direction. All of which can be used in any sport.
