| Recipient Org: Description | We work with disadvantaged children and young people across the West of England but particularly in North Somerset, to enrich their lives through the arts. We use high quality interventions to build self -esteem, self confidence and aspiration and support young people in challenging circumstances to build the personal skills that will allow them to progress in life. We empower young people by offering them supported leadership roles (notably at our Creative Space at Weston Youth Centre - funded initially by QCF). We extend to work based training and employment for NEET young people. We were the largest single employer of creative apprentices and interns in the South West in 2015-16. |
