Recipient Org: Description The Weston-Super-Mare Judo Club's aim is to help young people & adults to learn judo, build self confidence, self esteem & improve co-ordination and ultimately be the "best they can be". Our club is committed to helping children reach their full potential, whether they are competitive or recreational players, whatever their ability; ultimately, to become happy, confident young people. Our Club is a friendly and warm place where children and adults of all ages will quickly make friends and learn judo in a safe and friendly environment. The club is affiliated to the British Judo Association and all our coaches are advanced DBS checked, first aid qualified and registered and fully insured with the British Judo Association. Weston-Super-Mare Judo Club is working in collaboration with the Fighting Chance Project to engage disadvantaged, vulnerable and disabled young people into the sport of Judo through the Yellow Belt Challenge project.
