Recipient Org: Description | Bedminster Energy Group (BEG) is a group of volunteers working to support the local community of Bedminster and Southville to: - Reduce CO2 emissions across the Greater Bedminster area in line with the energy hierarchy: Reduce energy demand; Increase energy efficiency; Generate renewable energy. - Address and reduce fuel poverty across the Greater Bedminster area. Services provided in 2017 include: - Sustainability talks/films at the Tobacco Factory, with 719 attendances. - Advice on home energy efficiency measures to our elderly community - Providing advice through social media - Working with partners on engagement around local energy or district heating schemes. |
