Recipient Org: Description Severn Vineyard is a City Centre church committed to seeing the renewal of our City. We meet on a SUnday and throughout the week in community groups where we gather as a large congregation and within smaller groups to encourage, offer fellowship, friendship and support; we worship together, pray for each other and look at the Bible together. We have a number of projects that we are involved with: sending teams out twice a month to serve the homeless through the Bristol Soup Run Trust, we run a Storehouse of baby clothes and equipment to give to those in need, we run a support group for parents involved with fostering and adoption through Home for Good, We run Brighter Bristol where we visit people in need and makeover their houses or garden, we've just started partnering with Transforming Lives for Good where children in deprived areas receive mentoring. As a response to the COVID pandemic, we set up an emergency Food Bank which is now being established as a permanent Food Bank serving Hartcliffe and Knowle West.. We also set up the CAP Debt centre to help people in financial difficulty, which serves South Bristol.
