Recipient Org: Description The Foodbank's core activity is to provide free emergency food to those referred to us in crisis by local care agencies who are registered with us. This is done from our four Foodbank outlets in Avonmouth, Lawrence Weston, Henbury and Hotwells. We are helping over 5000 people a year with emergency food. Other activities we are involved in are home delivery to the sick and elderly, running cookery and budgeting courses, Dancercise classes free to Foodbank clients and those on low income. We also have a dedicated advice worker in our Foodbank outlets working with our Foodbank clients, but also providing appointments for the local community outside of Foodbank opening times.
