Recipient Org: Description Age UK Bristol is a local charity, established over 25 years ago to support older people aged 55+ years. We exist to improve the quality of life and promote the independence of all older people living in Bristol. We want to ensure that everyone in Bristol can love later life, by supporting and empowering older people, helping other organisations to work together and championing the interests of older people in the city. We deliver a wide range of services including Information & Advice, where we support around 2,000 people a year receive the benefits and advice they need. We also offer community based activities and provide day services and home support in Withywood. AUKB convenes the Support Hub for Older People, a partnership of over 40 local charities supporting older people in Bristol.
