Recipient Org: Description The purpose of Severn Vineyard is to contribute to the spiritual, social and cultural well-being of our city and region. We have weekly worship services, with the majority of our income donated from regular members of the church. These funds also support the running of a variety of community-based projects - e.g. the BS4 Foodbank Outlet, the Brighter Bristol Storehouse and the South Bristol CAP Debt Centre, plus a Bristol Refugee Welcome Hub. As donations have decreased by at least 35% since our 2021/22 Annual Report to the Charity Commission, Severn Vineyard is need of outside financial support to continue to run these community-focussed activities. This application will help provide financial assistance specifically for the South Bristol CAP Debt Centre, which has been running for four years. It is our intention to help local clients referred to the Debt Centre to manage their finance, avoid future debt and build their financial capability.
