Recipient Org: Description Age UK South Gloucestershire has significant experience working with ‘hard to reach’ and ‘seldom heard’ older people. We have developed a flexible approach to working with those living in poverty and facing substantial barriers to accessing help and/or services. We have a solid and influential presence in South Gloucestershire and work collaboratively with over 40 organisations. We provide open access to people of all ages and offer various services (outlined below) to benefit many diverse communities, including: • Information and Advice Services (I&A); • Specialist Welfare Benefits Advice Services; • Befriending Services (telephone, face-to-face and peer-to-peer); • Home Improvement and Wellbeing Services; • Digital Inclusion Services; • Outward Bound Services (e.g., Walking Groups); • Will Writing; • Outreach provision; • Community Hub Activities (which are co-produced).
