Recipient Org: Charity Number 1050202
Recipient Org: Description Established as a community-led charity in 1995, the Farm has transformed a derelict 37-acre site into a bustling hub of activity. From humble beginnings, the charity now has a long-term lease on the Council-owned site, and raises awareness about the natural environment, animal care, sustainability and where food comes from for 50,000 visitors each year. We also use our facilities to deliver social impact projects that improve the health and prospects of our most deprived local communities. Our Vision is to create a healthy community rooted in nature, food, farming and each other, and our Mission is that we are a welcoming urban farm using our unique setting and targeted projects to educate, improve wellbeing and transform lives.
