Recipient Org: Description Our organisation supports over 400 children and young people aged 9–18 each week through open‑access youth clubs, 1:1 mentoring, Motus Street Dance Academy, a girls’ group, for those we’ve previously mentored, and a weekly community food pantry delivered in partnership with Oasis Bath, Bath Methodist Church and the Southdown & Whiteway Community Partnership. We create safe, inclusive and financially accessible projects so that young people facing disadvantage can participate without barriers. We work with young people experiencing multiple challenges, including those living in the 10–15% most deprived neighbourhoods nationally, those receiving free school meals, young people in care, experiencing anxiety, poor self-esteem, bereavement, family breakdown or rural isolation. Our support focuses on building confidence, wellbeing, life skills and a sense of belonging. Young people are central to shaping our work. Our Girls Group was created to provide further support to girls who we had mentored following the end of their 10-week mentoring programme, delivered in schools. This was in response to the feedback of not wanting mentoring to finish and for peer support. Younger pupils asked for a dedicated club, which we launched and continue to adapt using ongoing informal feedback. At Motus, young dancers co‑design choreography, with former dancers returning as volunteer leaders. Across our open‑access youth clubs, young people take part in annual surveys and regular feedback discussions, which directly influence session activities, trips and priorities. By embedding co‑creation and continuous feedback into everything we do, we ensure our programmes remain relevant, responsive and genuinely led by the young people we support.
