A project to purchase specialist kayak equipment including 4 x Feel Free Kayaks, 4 x Triumph light sit on kayaks, 8 x Tercel Kayaks, 12 x Light weight paddles, 6 x Buoyancy Aids, 6 x Ladies Palm Buoyancy Aid, 6 x Buoyancy Aid Small Kallista and 6 x Buoyancy Aid large Adult Kallistas to increase use by disabled (including MS), female and less physically active participants. It will enable 434 people to progress from light exercise on motor med machines, to technique, cardiovascular activity and posture development utilising kayak ergometers through to kayaking on the river. The aim is to create a more even split between male, female and disabled participants.
