Advantage Knights (360G-SE-2023008540EXCH_2023-08-10)

The Advantage Knight project of free noncurricular 2-hour rugby sessions to 60 disadvantaged and inactive (aged 8–11) children twice a week for 42 weeks at the club and local rugby pitches. Participating schools will provide two cohorts of 30, each attending one session per week. It will hire two new experienced Level 2 rugby / sport coaches with first aid and safeguarding qualifications, use existing and new kit. It will signpost to community organisations for continuous participation and evaluate feedback. The aim is to improve equality of access and build a positive relationship with exercise, self-esteem and confidence to instil healthy habits for life and develop social skills.
