This project will provide opportunities for young people with multiple disabilities to take part in sailing at the Exe Sailing Club, supported by volunteers. The participants will use small sailing dinghies and a Tornado 2 powerboat which can take up to 8 students and enables them to get used to the water and build confidence. A training programme and sign language sailing would be used to assist participants. 16 sessions over 16 weeks will be delivered. Funding will be used for sessions in the boats.
