Let’s Move Together (360G-SE-2024010011LOTT_2024-08-02)

A project for 40 men (aged 35 to 55) living with common mental health conditions to engage in fun, open-access and free, group physical activity led by qualified coaches. Sessions include 60 mins warm up/cool down, walking/low impact adapted sports, badminton, basketball, mindfulness walks, exercise and fitness, skills and competitive match-play and 30 mins social with signposts to community support like Join the Movement to help home activity. Funding will pay for facility hire, staff costs, equipment, refreshments, coach fees, training, promotion, clinical referral pathways and monitoring and evaluation. The aim is to improve mental and physical wellbeing, develop friendships and empower men with skills, confidence and resilience to be physically active.
