This project will deliver a 48 week Sport for Health programme, which will offer people living with early-onset dementia opportunities to take part in activities such as fitness & exercise, gym work, power-walking, football, swimming, table tennis and multi-sport sessions. The project will deliver 6 sporting activities a week and use facilities located in Basildon Sports Village and Feelgood Community Health and Fitness gym. Sport England funding will support the specialist Movement and Fitness sessions element of the project and coaching costs. The project is seeking to benefit 60 participants.
