Kabaddi For All (360G-SE-2025005311_2025-10-21)

This project will introduce Kabaddi to young people aged 12+ from low-income households in Hartlepool, fostering physical activity, cultural awareness, and community cohesion. Over 30 weeks, free 2-hour weekly sessions will be delivered combining skill development, fitness and teamwork. Some sessions will be delivered in local community centres to reduce travel barriers, offering taster sessions across multiple neighbourhoods. The project will culminate in a community tournament. Funding will cover, coaching fees, equipment, promotion, tournament costs and staff training.
