Competitveness Improvement Programme with total investment of £210,612,000 between 2017/2018 and 2023/2024 which will create 741 new direct jobs and safeguard 337 existing jobs from 2019/2020 to 2025/2026 at Washington Road, Sunderland, Tyne and Wear SR5 3NS (the Premises), all as more fully described at Schedule 2 attached (the Project). This offer of Grant is made on the understanding that both the Qashqai and X-Trail models will be produced at Sunderland from 2020 for at least 6 years, alongside an upgrading of the capacity of the plant to c.600,000 vehicles per annum, all as detailed in your application and accompanying documentation dated 23 November 2017.
