The Funded Activities aim to deliver PH5A, up to a total budget cost of £111m to meet at least the minimum requirements in consultation with developers holding current offshore wind development licences. This would include PH5A and potentially a finger quay, with the following proposed features:Main Quay: a 175m quay, with a heavy-lift pad (up to 70m x70m) capable of supporting a minimum load-bearing capacity of 25,000kg/sqm.Landside Storage: behind the Main Quay a lay-down area of up to 44,000 sqm with a load-bearing capacity of up to 15,000kg/sqm.Finger Quay: Potential for a finger quay adjacent to PH5A, extending up to 245m in length and up to 75m in width or to extent possible within the budget to meet developer needs.Heavy Lift Area: Potential for enhancing the load capacity up to 20,000kg/sqm along the Main Quay and finger quay within a maximum area measuring up to 325m x 75m. This area would be positioned adjacent to the heavy-lift pad, running east to west from the pad and along part of the finger quay, to support heavy-lift operations and ring crane activities.Berth Depth: A berth with a design depth of up to -14m at Chart Datum.These features have been refined over the past 14 months through detailed discussions with a group of FLOW developers. This process is ongoing, in order to ensure the expansion meets the needs of the industry and is future proofed to the maximum extent possible.The Funded Activities Premises are the Port of Cromarty Firth, Shore Road, Invergordon, IV18 0HD with the Service Base postcode being IV18 0EX.
